Position: Adobe Commerce Developer

Duration: 6 months initially

Work Setup: Hybrid (New Berlin, Wisconsin, or Ft. Smith, Arkansas)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Adobe Commerce Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing and customizing Adobe Commerce (Magento) solutions in both on-premise and cloud environments. This is a hybrid role requiring part-time onsite presence in either New Berlin, Wisconsin or Ft. Smith, Arkansas .

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Adobe Commerce (Magento) modules and extensions to meet project-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with designers, frontend/backend developers, and stakeholders to implement responsive, user-friendly e-commerce solutions.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, maintainability, and security of Adobe Commerce platforms by applying best coding practices.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, ERP, CRM systems) into the Adobe Commerce ecosystem.
• Recommend, integrate, and maintain third-party Adobe Commerce plugins.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Stay updated on Adobe Commerce platform updates, security patches, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Contribute to planning, technical designs, and estimations for e-commerce projects.
• Work in an Agile methodology, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with teams integrating technologies like SAP, Salesforce, product configurators, and marketplace solutions.
• Actively engage with the eCommerce core delivery team to deploy solutions in a global enterprise environment.
• Independently manage and deliver assigned tasks while driving team productivity through continuous improvement of tools and processes.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Adobe Commerce Certified Professional or Expert preferred.
• Experience: 5 8 years in PHP programming with significant experience in Adobe Commerce and on-premise Magento2 environments.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in modern web development technologies (React, Angular.js, Vue.js, HTML, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Knowledge of integration technologies and frameworks (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, XML).
• Experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, New Relic, Blackfire, and PHPStorm.
• Familiarity with payment gateways (e.g., CyberSource, PayPal, Braintree).
• Expertise in integrating 3rd-party services or middleware (e.g., MuleSoft).
• Proficiency with version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
