GPAC has partnered with a local firm seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in Civil Litigation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with this firm that has a long history of serving clients across the state, focusing on the central region of Vermont.
It offers a comprehensive range of legal and litigation services to individuals, businesses, municipalities, and various associations.
With strong community connections, the legal team understands the specific needs and challenges of local residents.
The practice areas cover corporate, business, environmental, regulatory, and real estate matters, as well as wills, trusts, and family law.
The firm provides both mediation services and full representation in litigation cases, including personal injury, workers' compensation, probate, and construction disputes.
It combines the expertise of a large law firm with the personal, client-focused approach of a small-town practice.
Position Requirements:
* Must be licensed to practice law in Vermont and in good standing.
* Proven experience in civil litigation with strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
* Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively with team members.
* What We Offer:
* Competitive starting salary of $90,000, with room for negotiation based on experience.
* Flexibility to negotiate hybrid or remote status after the onboarding period.
* For senior-level candidates with a substantial book of business, customized compensation packages are available.
