AV Programmer - On-Site, Hickam AFB, HI
Role is on AV programming team: planning, developing, implementing writing, testing control system code for AV and Videoconferencing systems for DoD clients.Â
Includes testing and on-site commissioning at client locations, mainly with the firm's primary customer at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, near Honolulu, HI
Primarily on-site in Hawaii, Available for occasional OCONUS/CONUS travel.
Ability to obtain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is MANDATORY
Strong preference for candidates currently holding aÂ DoD Secret or TS/ SCI clearance.
This role is NOT a WFH, Remote or Hybrid role. Regular On-Site presence at the client (come on, it's HAWAII!)
Responsibilities
Deploy Crestron processors.
Build UI solutions using various tools
Deploy UI on touch panels.
Work on effective APIs.
Technical Skill Requirements
Crestron control system programming
SIMPL (Symbol Intensive Master Programming Language)
Audio DSPs
VTC systems
video switching hardware
Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, multicast, addressing
Preferred, by not required
Crestron SIMPL# Pro
C# library for SIMPL and SIMPL+Â devices and control systems
C#
HTML5/CSS3
JavaScript
.NET framework.
Current Crestron Certifications, are highly preferred:
