As a Home Health Aide / Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Provide social interaction, activities, and emotional support to our clients.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Ensure a safe environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's health to the Client Care Team.
• Follow care plans provided by the Client Care Team and document all provided care accurately.
• Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards clients, families, and coworkers.

A few must-haves for Home Health Aides / Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and must be 18 years of age
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Reliable transportation (valid PA driver’s license & auto insurance)
• Valid two-step PPD or a Titer
• Smartphone with the capability to download and use a time clock app
• A compassionate nature, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
