Carpenter

Handshakers Construction LLC is currently seeking a full-time Carpenter to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. We have 20+ years of experience in Home Remodeling, offering a variety of handyman and home improvement services. We pride ourselves on offering great customer service and always strive for customer satisfaction!

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• Day shift

Skills that our Carpenter MUST HAVE:

• Finish drywall
• Remodeling
• Electrical
• Fabrication
• Frame carpentry
• Trim carpentry
• Painting
• Plumbing
• Blueprint reading
• Concrete

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma preferred
• Valid Driver’s license and personal auto insurance
• Your own tools, vehicle, smartphone and internet access
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities:

• Cut, shape, and install building materials for the construction, remodeling, or repair in a residential and light commercial setting
• Regularly work with fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
• Determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects
• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues, and present a description of a work order to a customer
• Layout for stairs and common rafters
• Read blueprints, utilize appropriate math skills, and perform layout
• Form and place concrete footings, piers, walls, and columns
• Placement of concrete, slab on grade and elevated decks
• Effectively communicate and understand both verbal and written instructions
