A reputable Earthwork Construction company in the greater Eastern South Dakota market is seeking a Civil Construction Estimator. They are urgently seeking to fill this Civil Construction Estimator role as they continue to grow and win several large projects. Civil Construction Estimator Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
* Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements and identify potential risks and opportunities.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather necessary information and ensure project goals and objectives are met.
* Utilize industry-leading software and tools to perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates.
* Stay up-to-date with current market trends, pricing, and construction methods to ensure competitive and accurate cost estimates.
Civil Construction Estimator Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction estimating.
* Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
* Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
