Are you an experienced project estimator/scheduler in Central Florida looking for a change? Check out this amazing opportunity for a Construction Estimator/Project Manager with experience in commercial and residential site development!

Our client  is a well-respected turn-key site development company providing services throughout Central Florida. With roots as a small grading company, our client has quickly expanded into underground utilities, paving, concrete, and all other facets of site work.

Construction Estimator/Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Receiving/reading blueprints
• Performing takeoffs of blueprints
• Identifying potential conflicts in construction methodology proposed in the plans
• Working with material suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
• Writing up estimates and schedules for projects
• Coordinating with clients, engineers, inspectors, field staff, and subcontractors to answer questions
• Trouble shoot problems that may arise during construction and work with the team to develop cost effective solutions
• Writing up change orders for additional services
• Assist with billing and pay applications

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of related experience OR
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 5+ years of related experience
• Experience with site development takeoffs and project estimating
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with estimating and construction software - Bluebeam; AGTEK; AutoCAD - and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
• Ability to conduct on-site evaluations, including climbing ladders and working in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license
