My client, a leading hedge fund, is seeking a senior Cyber Security Engineer to join their team in New York.
This role requires experience and expertise in implementing cyber controls on Infrastructure including but not limited to servers, operating systems and network both on-prem and on the public cloud.
This is a newly created position to lead the Cyber Security team for a leading hedge fund. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in cybersecurity policy development, threat modeling and controls within a large-scale environment (ideally with a financial services background). You should be a Cyber specialist and have a focus on Audit and Risk Controls.
You should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview for threat management and data governance, as well as experience with penetration testing and security tools (e.g., PaloAlto firewalls, Defender, ELK Stack, Cisco switches, Purview, VMWare).
