The American Prohibition Museum

Position Purpose

The Door Host must have a steady temperament and cool demeanor while keeping order, making sure everyone is safe, and that no one is acting aggressively or destructively. Must ensure guest and museum visitors are provided with an authentic prohibition speakeasy experience, staying in character of a speakeasy era bar back at all times, provide friendly service, and describe speakeasy era experience.

• Ability to stand and walk during the entire shift.
  
  
• Ability to reach, bend, squat, lift, carry, push as necessary to complete tasks.
  
  
• Ability to lift, lower and carry supplies that typically weigh up to 50 lbs. varying distances.
  
  
• Ability to traverse all areas of the company's operations and public areas, including ascend and descend stairs.
