General Description:
The Educational Support Specialist, under the direction of the Director of the Learning Centers, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Academic Learning Centers (ALCs)/Multimedia Labs. The incumbent designs and supervises the Computer-Assisted Instruction ( CAI ) tutorial environment to assure effective delivery of CAI services, and works with the Director of the Learning Centers to develop and maintain services responsive to ALC student needs. The incumbent also assists and instructs faculty and staff in the proper use of computer hardware and software, including multi-media applications for traditional classrooms, student computer labs, and the Internet's World Wide Web.
