Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients before the IRS and state tax authorities to resolve tax disputes and compliance issues.
• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
• Conduct in-depth tax research and analysis to develop tailored solutions for client cases.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to provide expert guidance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent (EA) certification (active and in good standing).
• Proven experience in tax resolution and tax preparation.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in tax software and technology tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in representing clients in audits, offers in compromise, and penalty abatement cases.
• Familiarity with litigation support and forensic accounting.
• Previous experience with multi-state tax matters is a plus.
