Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking an Environmental Scientist for our Somerset, New Jersey office. We're growing, and this is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming environmental professional to grow with us! This is a role for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in our Environmental Department, which serves a diverse client base, providing due diligence, regulatory consulting, site remediation, and similar services.

Responsibilities of this role include :

• Perform and write Phase I ESAs
• Collect samples for soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion analysis
• Review laboratory reports and tabulate analytical data
• Prepare technical reports and deliverables
• Ability to grow into such areas as Phase II ESAs, regulatory interaction, Brownfields redevelopment, vapor intrusion assessment, site remediation, and project management.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3+ years of Phase I ESA experience
• BS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related curriculum preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• GIS experience would be preferred, but not required
• Self-motivated, organized, and focused, with good attention to detail
