Job Title: Event Assistant

Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Event Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help with the preparation of event materials and supplies, including decorations, signage, and printed materials.
• Communicate with vendors, venues, and event stakeholders to ensure all logistical details are managed.
• Manage registration and guest lists, including checking in attendees and answering any questions they may have.
• Monitor event timelines to ensure everything runs according to schedule.
• Provide on-site support to event managers and clients, ensuring smooth operations.
• Handle administrative tasks such as booking accommodations, transportation, and meals for event participants.
• Assist with social media and marketing efforts, including taking photos and promoting event content.
• Ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations during events.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
