Your Opportunity We are looking for an Environmental/Experiential Graphic Designer to join our Houston team Your Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design team (brand, interior architecture, architecture) to develop strategies and document graphic solutions that will extend our client's brand story into the built environment - Using brand and identity as foundation, design concepts for touchpoints such as: interior and exterior building signage, murals, and experiential graphics for hotels, residential properties, retail and commercial spaces, parks, and cultural institutions - Develop detailed signage drawings that document designs for fabrication and installation within architectural and landscape settings Your Capabilities and Credentials - Knowledge of architectural drawings and process - Understanding of materials and methods required for signage fabrication and installation - Significant knowledge and interest in typography is a plus - Professional demeanor, positive attitude, eagerness for learning and knowledge-sharing in a collaborative studio - Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and deliver constructive critique - Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment - Strong attention to detail and commitment to creative excellence - Portfolio demonstrating a strong design sensibility and typographic skills - Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite - Revit experience is a plus Education and Experience - A bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design, communication or environmental design preferred - 4+ years of professional work experience with a focus in signage, wayfinding, and experiential graphic design This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
