**DESCRIPTION** **Job Summary:** Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to generators and components at the customer's site. We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in (Colorado Springs, CO) We offer Sign-on Bonus, Relocation, Competitive Pay and Benefits! In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: + Completing repair activities on generators or components + Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of service + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools **RESPONSIBILITIES** In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: + Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. + High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. + Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products. + Basic Diesel Engine experience. + Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components. + Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation. **QUALIFICATIONS** This position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado This position will require a Med-Card and we will also be required to complete a DMV driving report. ORDER, DOT Physical and DMV Report. CANDIDATE MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD **DOT** - A current valid license is required for this role - This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations - This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical - 3 years driving experience - This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use -Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **Experience:** Basic level field service work experience Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of power generation products High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience Customer service experience **Compensation and Benefits Base** Salary rate commensurate with experience.
