We are seeking Food Service Workers to join our team in New Orleans, LA and help support our clients by providing excellent service to guests. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic attitude towards serving guests and co-workers.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team and contribute to the seamless operation of the food service establishment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and assisting in the preparation and distribution of food and beverages.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Prepare a variety of food and beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Handle food safely and hygienically, following all health and safety guidelines and regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, coffee machines, and microwaves.
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
• Ensure that food presentation is appealing and meets established standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Restock supplies, ingredients, and utensils as needed to ensure smooth service.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of serving stations, buffets, and dining areas.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including processing payments and providing change.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a cohesive and cooperative work environment.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including uniform and grooming standards.
• Adhere to established opening and closing procedures, ensuring the establishment is ready for business.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on food safety practices.
• Adapt to varying work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in food service or customer-facing roles is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle busy periods with a calm demeanor.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Attention to detail in food preparation, presentation, and cleanliness.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a bustling environment.
• Flexibility in adapting to changing tasks and responsibilities.
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
