Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to join our team in Wilkes Barre, PA. This is a dual-role position requiring both forklift operation and order picking. The ideal candidate will have experience operating both reach trucks and sit-down forklifts. Experience with a cherry picker is a plus, but not required.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $17/hr.

Shift : 1:30pm - 10pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate reach trucks and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently
• Pick and stage orders accurately based on pick sheets or RF scanners
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and organizing inventory
• Perform general warehouse duties such as palletizing, shrink-wrapping, labeling, and sweeping
• Conduct equipment safety checks and report maintenance needs
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating both reach trucks and sit-down forklifts
• Experience with a cherry picker is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Flexibility to perform a variety of warehouse duties as needed
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be dependable and punctual

Important Note: This is not a 100% forklift position. Candidates must be comfortable performing additional general warehouse tasks as needed throughout their shift.
