Job Description

A non-profit, private foster care agency is seeking appropriate candidates to work with foster families and the children placed in their homes. To be selected for the positions, candidates must have a clean background check (BCI & FBI) and be willing to submit to other required state and national checks. 

• Supervision of foster homes to ensure foster caregivers are consistently maintaining compliance with foster care rules and regulations.
• Promote and ensure safety and appropriate growth of children on assigned case load.
• Collaborate with custodial agency workers for prompt referrals and linkage with specialized services providers.
• Provide education/training, guidance, and support to caregivers during crisis and behavioral challenges.
• Encourage and facilitate positive communication and teamwork.
• Write and submit relevant reports.

ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a Social Work Degree and Social Work License. 
• Candidates who have a degree in related fields, but currently working on master's degree in social work may apply. 
• Candidates currently studying social work and soon to graduate may apply also. in school.
• Good oral and written communication skills with English as primary language.
• Ability to establish and maintain good boundaries.
