What is the ATC Products team and  why join?

The ATC Products team is dedicated to building innovative digital solutions that amplify and deliver the value of WWT’s Advanced Technology Center. Our mission is to empower customers with tools that enable hands-on exploration of technologies, enhance learning experiences, simplify complex technical decision-making, and provide seamless access to ATC support resources when they need help. By creating intuitive platforms for lab hosting, proofs of concept, and educational resources, we equip IT practitioners with the insights they need to drive meaningful business outcomes. Here are some recent examples of the impactful work we’ve been involved in: 

• Integrated Learning Paths into our digital event experience, allowing customers to seamlessly access and enroll in educational content.
• Enhanced our learning platform to provide deeper insights into user engagement, including video watch time, the article read duration and lab launches.
• Developed a system for awarding digital achievements to users upon completing Cyber Range challenges and key learning milestones.
• Developed a digital scoreboard to display team scores in real-time during Cyber Range events and highlight results afterward.
• Built a new Help Center for wwt.com to provide a centralized, user-friendly resource for customer support and self-service content.
• Implemented an AI-powered spam detection system to improve the integrity of our discussion forums on wwt.com and reduce unwanted contact submissions for our customer service team.
• Streamlined our support team's workflow by integrating customer support cases from wwt.com into a third-party ticketing system.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer on the team, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and delivering quality software that is thoughtful and maintainable. Your primary focus will be developing new features leveraging JavaScript, NodeJS, and Vue.js. You’ll tackle emerging issues as they arise, offering technical and process guidance. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring other developers to ensure that the team is high-performing and healthy. 

Responsibilities:

• Build functional software and deliver technical solutions that consistently exceed stakeholder expectations using web and AI technologies.
• Ensure software and solutions scale well, are cost-effective, and adhere to software development best practices.
• Provide technical and professional mentoring for team members. 
• Lead projects and complex assignments with broad and ambiguous scope.
• Write thoughtful code that is maintainable and efficient.
• Interact directly with stakeholders to understand functional requirements and needs. 
• Demo solutions and communicate status to stakeholders at all levels. 
• Participate in ideation sessions and strategic planning. Help foster a team-first environment grounded on an understanding of and a commitment to the WWT Core Values.

Qualifications:

• Passionate about software development and delivering large and/or complex solutions in an iterative process. 
• 5+ years of experience in web development technologies such as:
  • Vue, Angular, or React
  • JavaScript/NodeJS
  • Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Possess a solid understanding of Agile principles. 
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) for both a technical and non-technical audience. 
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of what it takes to deliver an application from inception to production.
• Comfortable mentoring other developers. 
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science; A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  
  

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of the salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $103,000.00 to $130,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
