Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Regulatory Attorney to create practical legal resources for professionals in the healthcare and technology sectors. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional with expertise in healthcare regulations, compliance, and transactional matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop "how-to" practice notes, templates, checklists, and legal analysis on various topics, including artificial intelligence, software licensing, cloud computing, video game and mobile app development, and more.

Draft new legal content and enhance existing materials with insights from case law, statutes, regulations, industry standards, and practical experience.

Conduct thorough legal research to ensure accuracy and relevancy of content.

Provide clear, well-structured guidance tailored to legal professionals and business stakeholders.

Utilize Microsoft Word with track changes for document drafting and revisions.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Active bar membership in good standing within the United States.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory law.

Expertise in healthcare compliance, licensing, governance, fraud prevention (Anti-Kickback, FCA), Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements, and related regulatory frameworks.

Strong background in legal writing, content development, and editing, especially in publications such as trade journals, law firm newsletters, or legal magazines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and online legal research tools.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience drafting compliance materials, transactional documents, and regulatory guidance.

Familiarity with Healthcare.gov, Medicare, and Medicaid policies.

Ability to conduct regulatory surveys and navigate licensing requirements.

Previous contributions to legal publications, magazines, or professional newsletters.

Experience developing legal templates and structured checklists to aid practitioners.
