Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for our hotel, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize occupancy.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Train and mentor sales staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to promote the hotel and network with potential clients.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hotel sales or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams and hotel management software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Requirements

Education/Formal Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or hospitality preferred.

Experience

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively.
  • Flexibility to travel and work nontraditional hours as needed.
