Position summary:

Responsible for the management and maintenance of the companies' lan/wan environment and computer systems. This includes the participation in and oversight of the daily upkeep and administration of the companies' network infrastructure and computer systems. The role will involve supporting the senior systems and network engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining all network, security, and server systems to meet the organization's current requirements.
• Daily administration and oversight of the network and server systems. This includes the creation, deletion, and maintenance of user accounts, distribution lists, groups and all associated security parameters.
• Working with ciso regarding the branch's vulnerability management process.

Skill requirements

General:

The candidate should be a self-starter and be able to work independently. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage several ongoing tasks also required. Fluent in using ms office and related products such as word, excel, visio and project. Ability to work in a team environment, interface with multiple teams or individuals.

Technical:

• 10+ years of experience as a system and network engineer supporting a production enterprise infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science.
• Other qualification preferred including: cisco certified internetwork expert (ccie), cisco certified security professional (ccsp) and microsoft certified system engineer (mcse).
• Knowledge of other technologies is an advantage, including:

Cisco network routing, switching, security and wireless, storage area network (san) including emc and sun stk storage, check point firewall, fortinet fortigate and fortiproxy,

Citrix infrastructure includes netscaler/adc, storefront and ddc (and knowledge of the design and administration of the citrix family of products), vmware infrastructure, bitdefender gravityzone, microsoft infrastructure - dns, wins, active directory, wsus, sccm and group policy implementation, linux server/centos/rhel, nagios monitoring, carbon black endpoint security, splunk configuration, smtp, aruba wireless infrastructure, data center architecture, ssl certificate management and system disaster recovery.
