Job Description

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution center, is seeking a Janitorial professional to join their team. As a Janitorial team member, you will be part of the Facilities Support Department supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Janitorial **Location:** Glenview, IL **Pay Range:** **Shift:** Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm **What's the Job?** + Collect trash daily from various points throughout the distribution center (DC). + Sort trash from recyclables and place items in appropriate staging areas. + Operate garbage compactors and cardboard balers, making and storing cardboard bales as needed. + Maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles and surrounding areas. + Use and maintain a drivable floor scrubbing machine for daily cleaning tasks. **What's Needed?** + 1-2 years of commercial or industrial cleaning experience. + Ability to be trained on the use of walkie-rider pallet jacks and drivable floor scrubbers. + Physical ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance, and occasionally lift more than 100 pounds with assistance. + Strong work ethic and reliability. + Willingness to perform additional duties and support team projects as needed. **What's in it for me?** + Full-time employment opportunity with consistent hours. + Comprehensive training provided to ensure success in your role. + Supportive work environment focused on safety and teamwork. + Opportunity to develop skills in facility maintenance and operations. + Potential for growth within the organization.
