Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team at our Morrisville, PA facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting trace and ultra-trace elemental analyses on Electronics Specialty Gases, primarily supporting the semiconductor industry. This role will involve working with advanced instrumentation such as Gas Chromatography, FTIR, and moisture analyzers within a fast-paced, high-performance laboratory.

Job Description

• Perform routine sample analysis and provide analytical data entry.
• Utilize Gas Chromatography, FTIR, and other instruments to conduct trace and ultra-trace level contamination analysis in liquids and gases.
• Support the quality control/quality assurance and failure analysis processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of results to meet customer expectations in the electronics industry.
• Collaborate with a passionate team of professionals focused on providing high-quality data.
• Maintain safety standards in the lab, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Skills Required

• S trong communication skills.
• Experience with Gas Chromatography, FTIR, or other relevant laboratory instrumentation.
• Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and Mass Spectrometry is preferred.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Moving cylinders using carts is part of the role.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.

Additional Requirements

• Shi ft: M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 
• This position is classified as safety-sensitive.
• Required PPE: Fire Retardant Lab coat, metatarsal safety shoes, and eye protection.
• This position is based in a chemical lab environment.
• The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends based on business needs.
