Job Description
We are seeking adynamic and motivated Survey Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for field surveying and be excited about contributing to projects in southeast Wisconsin.
Responsibilities:
+ Conduct field surveys using advanced surveying equipment and technology.
+ Assist in the preparation and organization of survey data.
+ Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to obtain accurate and reliable data collection.
+ Operate and maintain surveying instruments and tools.
+ Perform land measurements and boundary calculations.
+ Understand surveying standards and procedures.
+ Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project objectives.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during field work.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in surveying or related field is a plus.
+ Previous experience in land surveying is preferred.
+ Familiarity with surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and data collectors.
+ Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
+ Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
+ Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
