Lead Power BI Developer Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lead Power BI Developer to head our business intelligence initiatives and take ownership of developing scalable, impactful dashboards and data solutions. In this leadership role, you’ll drive the reporting strategy, mentor a team of developers, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to turn complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced Power BI dashboards and reports
• Manage and mentor a team of Power BI developers, ensuring high standards and best practices
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements and align BI solutions with business goals
• Optimize performance and usability of existing reports and dashboards
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all BI outputs
• Oversee data sourcing, modeling, and transformation processes (ETL) to support Power BI development
• Stay ahead of trends in BI and data visualization to introduce innovative solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI and business intelligence, including team leadership or project ownership
• Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large relational databases
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration
• Proven track record of delivering business-critical BI solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead stakeholder discussions
