Looking for your next locum tenens opportunity? A position is available for a board-certified Hematology/Oncology physician in a hospital near Kilkenny, Minnesota. Job Details:

• Start Date: March 6, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks with the potential for extension
• Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • On-call coverage (optional)
  • Weekend call includes rounding from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and being on-call for the remainder of the weekend
• Practice Setting:
  • Inpatient rounding
  • Hospital, infusion center, and outpatient settings
  • Collaboration with a team of 2 MDs and 2 APPs
• Average Daily Census: 30–40 patients
• EMR System: Epic

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for oncology and hematology patients
• Handle medical oncology cases, including infusion coverage
• Manage benign hematology cases (preferred)
• Acute leukemia experience is highly desirable

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Hematology/Oncology (required)
• Licensure: Minnesota license or eligibility for IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact); temporary MN license may be considered
• Certifications: BLS and DEA required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
