What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will have experience operatinglarge horizontal boring mills (manual or CNC)to machine precision parts to tight tolerances. We're looking for someone with: Apositive outlook Astrong work ethic A drive tolearn, grow, and be successful An eye fordetail and quality craftsmanship Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate horizontal boring mills to produce custom, high-precision components Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints Select proper tooling and machining parameters for a variety of materials Ensure parts meet tight tolerances using precision measuring instruments Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines Maintain a clean and safe working environment Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals Qualifications: 5+ years of machining experience, preferably withhorizontal boring mills Experience withlarge/heavy partsandoverhead crane operationis an asset Strong understanding of machining practices, setups, and blueprint reading Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred Benefits: Complete Full Featured Benefits Package Matching RRSP contributions Competitive wages Regular performance discussions & advancement opportunity Work/ life balance focus Team work Environment
