Duties

As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST GS-0343-07 within the PACIFIC ISLAND ECOSYSTEM RESEARCH CENTER , some of your specific duties will include:

  • Routine tasks of program analysis studies of operating programs.
  • Performs limited analyses and writes portions of reports.
  • Review & interpret directives, instructions, regulations, and delegations of authority for impact on program objectives, operating policies, work operations, and progress.
  • Assist internal/external customers with common and unique administrative processes.

For GS-07 : Applicants must meet one of the following to qualify for the GS-07 level:


Possess one year of specialized experience in or directly related to this position that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. To be creditable, the required specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-5 level in the Federal service.


Examples of GS-5 level work include analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions regarding programs and functions; planning and organizing work; and communicating effectively orally and in writing.
