Marketing Manager - EdTech Innovation

About Us

We are an award-winning platform dedicated to revolutionizing how families navigate their children's educational journeys. Our platform simplifies finding, applying, registering, and paying for schools and programs. For educational providers, we streamline admissions and operational workflows, enabling equitable service for all students. Think of us as "OpenTable for Education" or "Mindbody for Schools."

We're already making a significant impact in the industry, working with major clients across numerous cities. Backed by a team of visionary technologists and practitioners, we're now ready to scale further by growing our marketing efforts.

About the Role

We are seeking a versatile Marketing Manager to join our dynamic and passionate team. As our second marketing hire, you will partner closely with internal leaders and external stakeholders to elevate our brand and drive growth. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing strategy. This includes owning demand generation initiatives, managing campaigns, and developing content to expand our reach and engagement.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment, enjoys multitasking, and has a strong foundation in demand generation and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

As a Marketing Manager, you'll have the opportunity to shape our growth trajectory through diverse and impactful responsibilities:

Campaign Management: Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive leads and engagement.
Events & Conferences: Plan, organize, and manage attendance, sponsorships, and follow-ups for industry events.
Demand Generation: Develop programs and paid advertising strategies to grow our pipeline.
Social Media: Build and execute strategies to grow our presence, including content creation and scheduling.
Content Development: Write high-impact content for blogs, social media, and email campaigns.
Webinars: Coordinate webinar series, manage outreach campaigns, and maximize attendance.
Sales Enablement: Create and update sales collateral, answering team inquiries to support their efforts.

Your Day-to-Day

Building targeted lead lists using tools like LinkedIn and other data sources.
Writing and sending highly customized outreach emails to prospective clients.
Managing website content to ensure alignment with the latest messaging and positioning.
Coordinating event sponsorships, managing booths, and creating follow-up materials.

What We're Looking For

Experience: 4-8 years in marketing, with exposure to various functions (e.g., demand generation, social media, events, and content creation). Expertise in demand-gen and digital marketing is highly preferred.
Campaign Expertise: Proven track record of conceptualizing and executing campaigns, including analyzing results and deriving insights.
Event Savviness: Skilled at managing event participation from planning to post-event lead generation.
Execution: Strong ability to take projects from concept to completion with attention to timelines and outcomes.
Skills: A "Swiss Army knife" marketer who can write compelling copy, handle basic design tasks, and generate performance reports.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in tools like HubSpot, Canva, and Asana.
Adaptability: Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
Bonus Points: Familiarity with the education or edtech space.
