Mecklenburg Transportation System (MTS) and the Services For Adults (SFA) division is seeking a seasoned, human services professional to lead the County’s Non-Emergency Medical Transportation services.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record of strategic thinking and innovation as it relates to managing and developing transportation systems and services for seniors.
To be successful, the manager will need to be knowledgeable in the local and regional transportation community and be intentional around collaboration with community members, key stakeholders, and partners to build a robust array of transportation strategies for Mecklenburg County residents, particularly seniors.
The ideal candidate is well-versed in the importance of social determinants of health and their effect on overall wellbeing, specifically as it relates to the transportation needs of residents eligible for publicly funded services and resources.
Full time position located onsite at VCW, 3205 Freedom Dr., Charlotte, NC 28208. Primary work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
