We are seeking a Moodle Content Developer and Course Designer to develop and implement engaging educational content on our custom Moodle platform, transforming static materials into dynamic learning experiences.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Moodle Content Developer and Course Designer with strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and experience working with Moodle LMS. In this role, you will convert educational materials from PDFs and InDesign templates into interactive digital courses. You will ensure proper course structure, implement quizzes and assessments, and maintain consistency in design and user experience. This role requires a combination of technical, design, and analytical skills to build seamless and engaging learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert and structure course content from PDFs or InDesign templates into Moodle, ensuring logical flow and interactivity.
• Develop and organize course modules, assignments, quizzes, assessments, and supplementary materials.
• Design and implement interactive elements using appropriate Moodle question types and multimedia content.
• Ensure course responsiveness across multiple devices and screen sizes.
• Configure Moodle settings, including grading schemes, quiz attempts, and passing criteria.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in course material transfer and formatting.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and stakeholders to ensure courses align with learning objectives.
• Adhere to internal guidelines and onboarding protocols to become proficient with customized Moodle settings.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Moodle content development, instructional design, or LMS administration.
• Proficiency in HTML, with basic CSS knowledge for design adjustments.
• Fundamental understanding of JavaScript for minor interactive enhancements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to determine optimal quiz structures and content organization.
• Experience with Moodle LMS, including course creation and configuration.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong ability to maintain content accuracy and consistency.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in instructional design or digital learning content creation.
• Background in e-learning development and UX principles for educational platforms.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards in e-learning.
• Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, or other e-learning interoperability standards.
