DEPARTMENT LEAD (Nights) - Full Time

Housekeeping/Hospitality 

Position Summary: The Department (Night) Lead of the Hospitality Department is responsible for supporting the Department through management of the Hospitality personnel and areas. This role involves daily tasks, supervising daily operations, maintaining high standards for the facility, and enhancing guests' experience through effective leadership. The Department Lead reports to the Assistant Manager and Department Manager.

Customer Service 

• Our employees are expected to have excellent customer service with a positive and professional attitude. This includes greeting guests when they walk by or thanking guests as they exit.

Detail Orientation  

• Delegate tasks to housekeepers, complete tasks delegated by Department Manager or Assistant Manager
• Follow up with all tasks completed during your shift. Coach to underperformance.

Safety 

• Responsible for proper Chemical use and handling for self and team members.
• Incidents and Accidents must be immediately documented using our incident/accident forms.
• Communicate all other safety concerns to the Department Manager.

Cleanliness Standards

• This role is responsible for the closing cleanliness standards for the facility. Which includes but is not limited to: Entry way & lobby, hallways & stairwells, rooms, Private Baths, trash, laundry, sweeping, and mopping.

General Duties and Expectations

• Housekeepers report to the Department Assistant Manager and Department Manager of this Department. 
• Demonstrate all competencies and disciplines associated with this position.
• Daily communication with staff and specifically department leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.
• Previous Management experience required.
• Must be able to work nights - typical shift of 1:30pm-10pm
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
