**Responsibilities** **Job Summary:** The Nurse Educator for the Float Pool is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that promote clinical excellence and professional development among nursing staff. The Nurse Educator works collaboratively with leadership and bedside nurses to ensure that evidence-based practices are integrated into patient care, and that new and existing staff are properly oriented, trained, and supported in the delivery of high-quality care. + Develop and deliver orientation and onboarding programs for new hires in the medical-surgical unit. + Conduct ongoing competency assessments and continuing education for clinical staff. + Collaborate with unit leaders to identify learning needs and implement educational strategies. + Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff in the Med-Surg unit. + Evaluate outcomes of educational interventions and revise programs accordingly. + Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. + Participate in hospital-wide education committees and strategic planning initiatives.
