Days: Monday through Friday

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments for students referred due to developmental, sensory, motor, or adaptive skill concerns.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with IEP teams.
• Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create supportive learning environments and classroom modifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including therapy logs, evaluation reports, and progress notes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention planning.
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and skill-building strategies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district policies related to special education services.

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist License (Required).
• School-based or pediatric occupational therapy experience (Required).
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
