The Oncology Services Nurse Manager will join a well rounded team of healthcare professionals at a community medical center in the near Sacramento, CA. This facility is known for its commitment to high quality patient care and is part of well known, large health system in California.
The Oncology Services Nurse Manager will report to the Director of Nursing and will oversee a tenured team of Nurse Supervisors, Registered Nurses and Medical Assistants. The Nurse Manager will provide expert leadership and guidance in an ambulatory oncology services setting. The Nurse Manager will ensure that their team is up to date on their clinical competencies and will actively engage in clinical quality improvement tasks. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience running a reputable department by managing staffing needs and monitoring the day-to-day operations. The Nurse Leader will oversee a wide variety of patients and will help ensure that their team is providing the highest level of quality care to their patients. The Nurse Manager will work collaboratively with other members of the leadership team to help ensure that that the unit's day-today clinical operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Oncology Services Nurse Manager will also demonstrate a high level of professionalism and utilize excellent organizational skills.
