We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Payroll Administrator to join our team! In this role, you will report directly to the Payroll Manager and play a crucial part in processing full-cycle payroll for over 200 employees. Your knowledge of payroll laws across multiple states will be invaluable as you tackle complex payroll issues and contribute to special projects with innovative solutions and keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Process multi-state payroll on a bi-weekly and 9/80 schedule
Maintain and update payroll information accurately
Enter data into the payroll system with precision
Reconcile timecards for non-exempt employees
Track and manage PTO and sick leave balances
Address payroll inquiries from employees
Resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly
Enter payroll journal entries into SAGE X3
Reconcile benefit invoices for accuracy
Ensure compliance with I-9 processes, rules, and regulations
Qualifications:
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Strong ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
Capable of effectively communicating with individuals at all organizational levels
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Excel and report writing
Light accounting experience is a plus
Employment Type:
This is a full-time (40 hours/week; 8 hours/day) non-exempt hybrid role. You will be required to work on-site at our Anaheim branch three days a week, reducing to two days per week after two months.
Experience and Education:
Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Basic knowledge of payroll laws and practices across multiple states
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience of 5+ years processing payroll
Experience with Paylocity, ADP WorkForce Now (required), and SAGE X3 (preferred)
