What You'll Do

  • Ensure accurate and timely payment to all employees, process pay slips, and address internal inquiries.
  • Identify and escalate any payroll or system issues, collaborating with payroll shift supervisors to ensure payroll is processed on time, in compliance with relevant laws and tax obligations.
  • Oversee payroll functions, including calculating employee paychecks, withholding taxes, and managing other deductions.
  • Proactively identify and escalate system failures to eliminate manual processes, while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Audit payroll processes to identify discrepancies, make prompt corrections, and maintain adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing employee and external partner inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

We are seeking individuals with:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • In-depth knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and tax compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A high level of integrity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in mathematics.
