* Availability Requirements * Must be available to start with the upcoming PCT PATH cohort on November 24th. - Attendance is required for the three-week, in-house paid training program, which is held Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. - Full-time positions require three 12-hour shifts per week, including three weekend shifts within each four-week schedule. -----

Patient Care Technician Details

Essential Job Duties:

• Collaborate with RN staff to assess patients' needs and report concerns.

• Assist in developing and modifying care plans, prioritize patient problems, and perform medical tasks.

• Provide patient education, follow policies, respond to emergencies, and act as a patient advocate while respecting rights and confidentiality.

• Evaluate interventions, maintain professionalism, and seek assistance when needed.

Qualifications:

• Basic medical knowledge and patient care procedures.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

License/Certification:

Candidate must have one of the following:

• Valid Indiana CNA license, or

• Agree to complete the Union Health PCT Training program upon hire.

• Must be certified in healthcare provider BLS upon hire.
