Salary:

Description:

The Susan Horak group is looking for an efficient, safety-minded, self-starter. We have long-term work available for the right candidate for commercial and residential maintenance on construction developments.

Applicants should have residential and commercial construction industry experience, a reliable vehicle or transportation, and the ability to provide some of their own tools.

Applicants should be familiar with the construction industry safety standards to ensure project security and able to work with minimal supervision.

Applicants should be able to:

• Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints.
• Lift heavy loads up to 70 pounds.
• Navigate construction terrain.
• Perform set up and clean up at the job site.
• Provide general labor support as needed.

Skills:

• Troubleshoot plumbing work orders with tenants over the phone and in person.
• Repair and replace plumbing.
• Inspect and diagnose plumbing issues.
• Replace basic parts.
• Keep accurate time and detailed records of work performed at each location.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with management, tenants, and other maintenance technicians.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of all construction principles.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Personal, reliable transportation.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
