Primary Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC)

GiaMed JV, a joint venture between MedTrust LLC and GiaCare Inc., is now hiring civilian RNs to work at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) , serving our military heroes and their families.
As a GiaMed JV employee, you can expect:
~ A structured environment
~ Low patient ratios
~ A team that consists of LVN’s and Techs to work with
~ No On-Call
~7am - 5pm
~ Monday - Friday
~ One (1) extended shift during the week until 7 pm
Responsibilities
Full Time: Primary Care RN:
As a GiaMed employee, your duties and responsibilities will be the same as any other registered nurse on the same unit. Duties can include but are not limited to the following: team lead, precept, orientate, rapid response, and other tasks as needed.
This location, on Fort Sam Houston, is an outpatient Primary Care Clinic providing the highest level of care to active-duty military, veterans, and their beneficiaries.

Qualifications
~ Must be U.S. Citizen
~ Valid Registered Nursing license from any US jurisdiction
~ Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from an American Heart Association Program
~ ACLS from the American Heart Association
~1 year of outpatient clinic experience or 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience as a Registered Nurse within the last 4 years
