Position Description

We’re looking to hire a Production Assistant to aid in the manufacturing of electronics products at our facility in Norfolk, NE. This position will enter and maintain product data, process direct raw materials, perform secondary operations, perform product testing and processing of electronics and help with order fulfillment. This role provides an incredible opportunity to learn the foundation of our business and develop a successful and rewarding career in the agriculture industry! Hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Extension of normal business hours may be necessary, depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist production staff with setup and changeover by gathering and preparing tools and materials required by work order.
• Process received shipments, assemble, wire, and test equipment under the guidance of the supervisor or lead.
• Process finished parts.
• Assist with quality checks and procedure audits.
• Keep production supervisor informed of critical issues which affect production schedule.
• Ensure that the assigned work areas are always clean and orderly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to read product manuals and familiarity with basic measurement methods.
• Must be proficient in MS Office software
• Must have solid organizational skills
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiently read and write in the English language.
• Must be able to perform basic physical tasks, including nimbleness of hands for wiring
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs
• Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods
