Job Description

Life at MX

We are driven by our moral imperative to advance mankind - and it all starts with our people, product and purpose. We always carry a deep sense of drive and passion with us. If you thrive in a challenging work environment, surrounded by incredible team members who will help you grow, MX is the right place for you.

Come build with us and be part of an award-winning company that’s helping create meaningful and lasting change in the financial industry.

Not every company is poised to change the world—and not every team can transform how a company operates. But here on the Talent Acquisition team at MX, that's exactly what we’re doing. We own the responsibility of bringing in exceptional talent to help MX achieve its full potential. We move fast, iterate often, and approach every challenge with a Founder’s Mindset, all in pursuit of meaningful impact.

We’re hiring a Talent Coordinator—but this role is much more than a title. On our team, you’ll engage in Objectivity through Discourse to challenges assumptions—both your own and your teammates'. We leverage data not just to track our progress, but to uncover issues and drive rapid, strategic improvements. Your voice matters here. As a key part of the TA team, your ideas and contributions will be just as valued as anyone else’s.

In this role, you’ll play an essential part in advancing our hiring efforts. You'll act as a true ambassador of our recruiting process, ensuring a candidate experience that reflects the heart of MX’s values. Every candidate—whether hired or not—should walk away with a positive and memorable impression of MX. Your insights won’t just be welcomed; they’ll be instrumental in reimagining both the candidate journey and the broader recruitment process.

What You’ll Do

  • Innovate within the recruiting process by identifying gaps and leading initiatives to improve or completely reimagine how we hire.

  • Maintain a hiring experience that is delightful, organized, and professional, ensuring clear and consistent communication among candidates, hiring managers, and interviewers.

  • Own the interview coordination process—scheduling interviews, booking rooms, greeting candidates, and conducting company tours. For this reason, it's essential that this role is based locally out of Utah.

  • Ensure onsite interviews run seamlessly, with candidates feeling prioritized and well-supported throughout their visit.

  • Collect and follow up on hiring team feedback, auditing the process to support strong, data-informed decision-making.

  • Uphold MX’s hiring standards by holding teams accountable to high expectations rooted in both our values and function-specific competencies.

  • Partner with Senior Recruiters to collaborate with senior leaders and develop tailored recruiting strategies.

  • Source candidates across a range of technical and non-technical roles.

  • Conduct thoughtful, in-depth phone interviews to assess candidate fit and interest.

  • Analyze recruiting data to identify bottlenecks and proactively design solutions that improve speed and quality of hire.

You Are

  • Values-Driven Gatekeeper – As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, you’ll be trusted to uphold MX’s values, ensuring that those who walk through our doors are aligned with our mission and culture.

  • Collaborative Learner – You thrive in a team environment. In this role, you’ll receive hands-on mentorship from senior recruiters and gain exposure to all facets of the recruiting process.

  • Creative Problem Solver – You bring fresh ideas to the table. Not every idea will land—but you’re willing to experiment, fail fast, and innovate your way to meaningful solutions.

  • Insatiably Curious – You’re always learning. You dive deep to understand the business so you can speak authentically with candidates and continuously improve how we attract and assess top talent.

  • Natural Teacher – You don’t need to be the most senior person in the room to have a big impact. You’re excited to share what you’ve learned—within the TA team and across the organization.

  • Data-Driven Thinker – You treat data as your secret weapon. You’re passionate about gathering clean, accurate insights to diagnose issues, drive improvements, and predict what’s coming next.
