ROLE SUMMARY: Inspired Online Schools, part of the Inspired Education group, is a transformative group of online schools, including King’s InterHigh, the leading British Curriculum Online School with over 6,000 students globally. King's InterHigh has been at the forefront of online education, providing a complete online via our state-of-the-art learning portal and offering an excellent education without borders.
King's InterHigh USA is a pioneering online school providing a high-quality education to students across the globe. We are expanding our presence in the United States and are seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to support our growing team. Reporting to the Head of School and working closely with our human resources team in the UK, this role is integral to ensuring a seamless recruitment and onboarding process for new staff, collaborating closely with our benefits team, and cultivating a positive, professional working environment for all faculty and staff.
This hybrid position is based in the Washington, DC metro area, and in addition to the flexibility of remote work, our HR coordinator will be expected to come to our office several days a week as needed to engage directly with colleagues and foster strong professional relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Coordinate job postings, screen resumes, and schedule interviews.
- Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Assist in conducting reference checks and preparing offer letters.
- Develop and manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Conduct new employee orientations and coordinate training sessions.
- Support the development and maintenance of positive employee relations.
- Assist in addressing employee inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the HR team to implement employee engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate with our human resources partner to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in managing employee benefits programs and addressing benefits-related inquiries.
- Support the administration of HR systems and maintain accurate employee records.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR and recruitment coordination or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with HR software and systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of employee relations practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
