**Role Overview**
Sodexo is seeking a fulltime year-round **Registered Dietitian** to support **Salem-Keizer School District** located in **Salem, Oregon.** This RD will be involved in menu accommodations, the student allergy program and nutrition education. The position will provide support to additional K-12 districts in Northern Oregon, primarily in the Greater Salem/Portland area.
Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal
Three weeks of vacation, eight holidays and three personal days paid each year
Reimbursement for continuing education events
**What You'll Do**
+ Lead our student meal programs and will serve as the unit subject matter expert in student wellness
+ Be responsible for dietary needs/requests and work closely with school nurses, students and families
+ Be responsible for menu planning and dietary accommodations
+ Conduct educational events in the schools

**Qualifications & Requirements**
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
