Job Description
Location: Redmond, WashingtonJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $40 - 48 per hourWe're looking for a Content Designer to help shape internal content experiences across tools and go beyond writing UI copy-you'll define how content supports interaction flows and visual design, ensuring a seamless and consistent experience for our users.You'll collaborate closely with product designers, PMs, researchers, and writers to plan, write, and refine content across workflows. From managing terminology to creating and maintaining guidelines, you'll own the end-to-end content process and help deliver high-quality, user-centered experiences.This position is a 2-3 month REMOTE contract. Please apply if you are available and open to a short-term assignment.Responsibilities:
Coordinate with PMs and designers to plan content deliverables and timelines.
Manage and finalize key terms through vetting and tracking processes.
Craft clear, actionable UI content that aligns with design and brand standards.
Ensure consistency between in-product content and documentation.
Maintain content experience guidelines and support their use across teams.
Collaborate with UX researchers to test designs and apply user insights.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or a similar field.
Background in UX, writing, communications, or a related area.
Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.
Experience with tools like Figma, JIRA/ADO, and Copilot.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
Experience with design systems and accessibility best practices.
Familiarity with security or cybersecurity environments.
Versatility across content formats and audiences.
Design Thinking training or mindset.
