### **Job Description:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **QA Manual Tester** to join our team for a short-term contract of 2 months. As a QA Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through rigorous testing and validation. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position suited for someone who can quickly integrate into the team, understand requirements, and help ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality before release.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform **manual testing** of web and mobile applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and issues.
* Create, document, and execute **test cases** based on functional and non-functional requirements.
* Perform different types of testing such as functional, regression, user acceptance, and exploratory testing.
* Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
* Log, track, and prioritize **defects** using **issue tracking tools** (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
* Work with the development team to **reproduce bugs**, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.
* Perform **ad-hoc testing** and assist in ensuring that the product works in real-world scenarios.
* Provide **detailed feedback** on test results, highlighting potential areas for improvement and risk.
* Ensure that all deliverables meet the expected standards of quality, performance, and usability.
* Help prepare **test reports** and documentation as required for stakeholders.
### **Required Skills & Qualifications:**
* Proven experience as a **QA Manual Tester**, with a solid understanding of software development and testing life cycles.
* Experience with **test case design**, **execution**, and **defect management**.
* Familiarity with **issue tracking systems** like Redmine
* Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
* Ability to **prioritize tasks** and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills to document findings and report issues clearly to stakeholders.
* **Basic understanding of SQL** for database validation and queries is a plus.
### **Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in **Agile** or **Scrum** environments.
* Experience with **mobile testing** (iOS/Android) is a plus.
* Familiarity with **performance testing** or **security testing** is a bonus.
### **Additional Information:**
* The contract duration is 2 months, with the possibility of an extension based on performance and business needs.
* This position is purely remote or work from home only.
