**Job Summary and Responsibilities** Our laboratory is working on the translational research of cerebrovascular diseases including brain aneurysms and stroke. We use pre-clinical models cell culture and molecular approaches. We are looking for a part-time research assistant who will work with lab personnel on various projects under the supervision of post-doctoral fellows and full- time technicians. The ideal candidate should have experience in working in life science bioengineering or health care. Performs routine procedures in one or more sections of the laboratory facilities under the supervision of either a principal investigator, staff scientist, research associate, or postdoctoral fellow. Will be expected to use proven scientific method(s) in the conduct of new and routine experiments. May be required to present findings in either written or verbal form with emphasis on maintaining a record of experimental findings. **Job Requirements** Exposure to laboratory techniques appropriate to those executed in the multidisciplinary medical laboratory. Science background must be applicable to type of lab position applying for.
