**UW Medicine - Eastside Specialty Center in Bellevue** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Per Diem Registered Nurse**
**SCHEDULE**
+ Per diem schedule / variable hours per week
+ Must be available to work 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday
+ Must be available to work at least 4 shifts every 4 weeks
+ Our clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidays
**DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION**
The **Eastside Specialty Center** is UW Medicine's largest ambulatory clinic. The Eastside Specialty Center has multiple specialties and is known for providing endoscopies, colonoscopies, cardiac tests, radiology exams, and medication infusions for patients living east of Seattle.
**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
+ Work a flexible schedule in a position offering work-life balance
+ Main area of support will be outpatient infusion therapy
+ This position will be cross-trained for multiple specialties, including cardiology, dermatology, ENT, gastroenterology, orthopedics, and urology
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Places IVs, administers medications through IVs, subcutaneous (SQ) injections, and intramuscular(IM) injections, and monitors patients for side effects
+ Reinforces patient education and participates in care coordination activities
+ Conducts phone triage
+ Completes patient paperwork, including forms for insurance authorizations and disability accommodations
+ Assists with clinical tasks such as catheter changes, suture removal, ECGs, and pre-op teaching
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ 2 years of recent ambulatory, infusion, or medical-surgical nursing experience
+ Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
+ Active BLS

**Compensation, Benefits and Position Details**
**Pay Range Minimum:**
$43.82 hourly
**Pay Range Maximum:**
$79.60 hourly
**Other Compensation:**
BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour
Certification premium - $1.25/hour
