Position Overview:

• Document & Track Progress – Maintain detailed records of evaluations, treatment plans, and student development to ensure compliance and track progress effectively.
  
• Enhance Student Engagement – Recommend adaptive tools and environmental modifications that promote accessibility and participation.
  
• Provide Targeted Therapy – Implement specialized therapy sessions focused on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional development.
  
• Collaborate and support -  Work closely with educators and families, offering expertise during IEP meetings and contributing to strategic intervention planning.
  
• Assess & Customize Interventions – Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor, sensory, and cognitive abilities to create individualized treatment plans that support their unique needs.
  

Requirements

Applicants must possess state certification with an Occupational Therapy (OT) endorsement and hold a valid Illinois Occupational Therapy license. A master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution is required. Prior experience in occupational therapy is preferred, especially in working with children with diverse abilities.
